Cool Science Investigations (CSI)
Fourth and fifth graders in CSI learn about the fun and joy of science. They use hands-on, discovery-based activities that allow them to build confidence in their science skills while learning about science principles. CSI meets from 4-5 p.m. on Tuesdays. Three seven-week sessions of CSI are offered throughout the year.
Fabric Club
Fabric Club, for fifth graders, meets on Tuesdays from 4:15-5:15 p.m. Students explore different fabric techniques and will dye fabrics with dyes and bleach. They will also learn how to make sun prints. The final project uses these fabrics and embroidery.
Math Wings
Math Wings is open to fourth and fifth graders who enjoy a good challenge and want to grow their math skills. Once a week (7:45 a.m. Tuesdays), we meet to tackle thought-proviking problems together, share strategies, and build confidence as mathematicians. Students will also have the exciting opportunity to represent our school at local math competitions, putting their teamwork and problem-solving skills to the test!
Running Club
Running Club is for students in third through fifth grades and meets Tuesdays after school in the fall and spring. The club provides numerous benefits including promoting physical fitness, fostering mental discipline, resilience, and goal-setting skills. It also enhances academic performance by improving focus and alertness, strengthening social connections, buildind confidence, and establishing healthy habits for a lifetime.
